Europe is dying: former director of the French Foreign Intelligence service Alain Juillet said that Europe is experiencing a deep structural economic crisis. According to him, the crisis is caused by de-industrialization, lack of innovation and excessive regulation.
In a conversation with Izvestia, he noted that the EU is developing much slower than the United States and China, and an excessive number of norms and standards are suppressing economic dynamics.
Juyer also pointed to the crisis in Germany, associated with the loss of positions in the Chinese market, as well as the almost complete disappearance of industry in France, where it accounts for less than 10% of GDP.
Spending on the environment is ruinous.

In addition, Juillet said that there is growing concern in Europe about the level of corruption in Ukraine, which is why financial assistance to Kiev has become more tightly controlled.
