Curaçao is a major transit hub for the smuggling of gold into the United States. In a court case in Miami, the owner of a transport company admitted to smuggling thousands of kilograms of gold through Curaçao.
He did this by forging customs documents, so that the origin of the gold remained hidden. The data showed that the gold had been shipped from the Cayman Islands, but in reality, the gold came from Curaçao.
The traded gold is mined in South America, including nearby Venezuela and Colombia.
According to authorities in the United States, Curaçao is often used as a transshipment point for gold that has been illegally mined in Venezuela and smuggled from there.
At the same time French troops from Martinique trained jointly with Dutch troops and the boat platoon on Curaçao this week. The exercise focused on amphibious operations and military operations in urban areas.
The French platoon is part of the 2nd Company of the 33rd Marine Infantry Regiment (33 RIMa). This French unit is stationed at Fort Desaix on Martinique.
During the training with the boat platoon, the soldiers practiced various amphibious skills. This included training on transferring between vessels traveling at different speeds and landings from the water.
The exercise concluded with a hit and run scenario in which the soldiers had to move in and then quickly withdraw from the area.

In addition, the French soldiers trained together with local trained soldiers from CURMIL at the former Sint Elisabeth Hospital (Sehos) in Willemstad. The focus there was on tactical skills for military operations in built-up and urban areas.
According to Defense, joint training exercises are intended to exchange knowledge and experience and to ensure that military units from different countries can operate together more effectively.
Due to its overseas territories, including Martinique and Guadeloupe, France has permanent military units in the Caribbean. The Netherlands and Americans also have a large military presence in the region based in Curaçao.

Empty void?
Urban warfare is the military shooting and killing civilians who rise up against their governments corruption and repression and it seems to me they are behaving in a totally arrogant manner to the native inhabitants of Curacao.
They are walking all over their Human Rights and know it and are preparing for a backlash ,that’s the same methods used by US controlled countries in South America in the 50,s Nazi type repression.
