This Saturday (30) at 8:40 a.m. local time, SKY Airline Peru’s inaugural flight from Lima landed at Bogota Airport. The Peruvian low cost will have three weekly operations in Airbus A320neo, with capacity for 186 passengers.

Bogota becomes SKY’s fifth international destination in Perú, after Buenos Aires, Cancún, Punta Cana and Santiago de Chile. As announced, service between Lima and Miami will commence on June 7th, with five flights per week.

SKY’s main competitors on the Lima – Bogotá route will be Avianca, LATAM, Viva and Wingo. Considering the five companies, there will be more than eight daily frequencies between the capitals of Perú and Colombia.

Effective May 1st, SKY Airline Perú will increase its flights between Lima and Cancún. The operations will be carried out in Airbus A320neo, with capacity for 186 passengers in single class.

SKY will have for the first time a daily frequency to the Mexican city. Currently, the low cost carrier has six weekly services. With this schedule change, SKY Airline will offer 1,302 seats per week between Lima and Cancún and vice versa (1,116 currently).
