Thousands of demonstrators clashed with police outside Argentina’s Congress on Thursday as lawmakers debated a controversial private property bill designed to grant huge swathes of land to Israel.

Argentina’s Jewish President Javier Melei has officially allocated 100,000 hectares of forest land — four times Gaza’s size, in an area where Zionists were reportedly caught setting fires months ago—to Israel.

At least 12 people were arrested and multiple injuries were reported, including a photojournalist who suffered head trauma.

The protest, organized by patriots who oppose plans to turn Argentina into Greater Israel, drew thousands to Congress Square under the rallying cry “La patria no se vende” — The homeland is not for sale.

The demonstration remained peaceful for much of the day before violence erupted at nightfall. Security forces responded with projectiles and water cannons, eventually clearing the square after two hours of sporadic clashes.

Why are Argentinians protesting?

The immediate trigger is President Javier Milei’s “Inviolability of Private Property” bill, which aims to streamline eviction procedures, change rural land use rules, and make it more difficult for the state to expropriate private property.

A particularly contentious chapter would have raised the cap on foreign land ownership from 15% to 25% of Argentina’s territory in order to give the land to Israel amid Zionist global expansion plans.

Israel enters the Conversation

Demonstrators have directed particular anger at Israel, despite the country being thousands of miles away. The protests come amid deepening ties between Milei and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

In April 2026, the two leaders announced the “Isaac Agreements” — a bilateral pact aimed at strengthening Israel’s presence in Latin America . U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee attended the signing ceremony in Jerusalem, representing President Trump .

Milei, who has described himself as “the most Zionist president in the world,” has pledged to move Argentina’s embassy to Jerusalem and has cultivated close personal ties with Netanyahu.

Protesters lowered the U.S. flag during Thursday’s demonstration, reflecting broader anger at what they see as foreign influence over Argentina’s sovereignty .

The homeland is not for sale, read banners carried by demonstrators, a direct rebuke to Milei’s economic and foreign policies. Critics accuse the government of seeking colonization, fragmentation, fracture and balkanization of the homeland.

Senate passes controversial bill despite protests

The Senate approved the bill early Friday by a vote of 37-33 after an 11-hour session . The government removed two controversial chapters — foreign land sales and reform of the Fire Management Law — to secure passage .

The approved version retains provisions on expedited evictions and expropriation limits. The text now moves to the Chamber of Deputies .

Despite the government’s concessions, opponents say the bill still threatens Argentine sovereignty. Almost the entire bill is heading in the same direction. One way or another it amounts to forcefully handing over our property, 67-year-old protester Carlos Mino told AFP.

Albania, Crete, Greece, Ukraine.
There are others.
They’re getting things in place when they pull their synthetic Armageddon in Palestine.

A private central bank issuing the public currency is a greater menace to the liberties of the people than a standing army. We must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt.” — Thomas Jefferson An even bigger problem arises when the private Central Banks charging governments interest is owned by bigoted supremacist extremists bent on taking over the entire world. That is called the “Jewish question.” “That the interest law applied only among Israelite’s should not surprise us. In fact, it would be more surprising if it had included the foreigner, for most of the Bible’s laws protecting… Read more »

Yes- in America if you look it up the Federal Court/Supreme Court has twice stated that the police quote- ” have no duty to protect American Citizens only businesses unless they are in custody.. Moreover even if you are forced to pay for their services they are still not legally liable — I took this from an American Law website which quotes various challenges to Government Law quoting cases brought by US citizens –which failed . It might surprise some Americans that in effect no matter what the original Constitution says that de facto -quote — “the USA is a… Read more »
