Yemen fires Hyper-sonic missiles @ Israel to close Ben Gurion Airport

Air raid sirens sounded in several areas across the Israeli-occupied territories after Yemeni Armed Forces fired two missiles toward the occupying entity amid the regime’s ongoing aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip.

According to Israeli media outlets, the fresh missile attack from Yemen set off sirens in towns and cities in the center of the occupied territories, including Tel Aviv, al-Quds, and the northern West Bank.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.

The missile force of Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a specific military operation with two ballistic missiles, one of which was a hyper-sonic Palestine 2 missile, targeting the Sodet Micha base in the eastern part of occupied area of Ashdod.

The statement added that the missile base was a launching pad for Jericho missiles and Arrow missile batteries. The other missile, a Zulfiqar missile, targeted Ben Gurion Airport in the occupied Yaffa region.

In addition to the missile strikes, the statement said a vital Israeli target in the occupied Ashkelon area was struck with a drone. Following the attack, Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv was closed due to the activation of air raid sirens, and flights were suspended.

The Israeli military confirmed that two rockets were launched from Yemen, saying attempts were made to intercept the missiles, and the results are under review.

The latest strike came shortly after the United States carried out a new wave of airstrikes targeting Yemen’s central province of al-Bayda and the provinces of Sa’ada and Hudaydah.

Yemeni media reports said five airstrikes hit the vocational institute in the al-Sawma’ah district of al-Bayda province late on Saturday.

The Yemeni missile attack also came two days after the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) announced that they had launched a drone operation targeting two Israeli military sites in the occupied Jaffa region, citing it as a direct response to the ongoing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.

In response to continued Israeli aggression against Gaza and ongoing British-USA aggression against Yemen, the Yemeni Armed Forces have launched a series of attacks targeting Israeli, American, and British interests in the Red Sea and surrounding areas.

As the genocidal war against Gaza intensified, the Yemenis implemented a strategic blockade of key maritime routes, aiming to disrupt the flow of military supplies to their adversaries and exert pressure on the international community to address the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have said they will not stop their attacks until Israel’s ground and aerial offensives in Gaza end.
