The US Navy fears a scenario in which Yemen learn to build high-speed unmanned naval drones to attack Zionist warships in the Red Sea. That’s one of the most scary scenarios, to have a bomb-laden, unmanned surface vessel that can go in pretty fast speeds.
And if you’re not immediately on scene, it can get ugly extremely quick, Rear Admiral Marc Miguez, commander of US Carrier Strike Group Two, told AP in an interview.

Commercial traffic through the Red Sea choke-point linking Europe to Asia is down by over 40% due to Yemen’s campaign of ship hijackings and missile and drone attacks in solidarity with Palestinians amid the Gaza genocide crisis.
A month-long series of US and British missile strikes inside Yemen has shown no signs of slowing Yemen down. It’s more of an unknown threat that we don’t have a lot of intel on, that could be extremely lethal.
An unmanned surface vessel, proves that Yemen has ways of obviously controlling them just like they do the (unmanned aerial vehicles), and we have very little fidelity as to all the stockpiles of what they have USV-wise.

Carrier Strike Group Two and its lead ship, the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower aircraft carrier have been patrolling the region since November, with warships in the group deployed to intercept Yemeni missiles and drones in the Red Sea.
The Eisenhower is carrying fighter jets to launch and bomb targets inside Yemen. The USA and Britain carried out new strikes on Yemen on Saturday, with local media saying the attacks targeted the country’s western province of al-Hudaydah.
The strikes followed an announcement by Yemen that they had fired a large number of appropriate naval missiles at a British-linked oil tanker – less than 24 hours after a separate attack on another British commercial vessel heading for Israel.

Supreme Political Council Mohammed Ali al-Houthi warned at a mass rally in Sanaa that the Red Sea was no longer a resort in which the Americans can roam and have fun in, stating that the resistance would continue and that Yemenis would stand firm with Gaza until liberation and victory.
The Yemen campaign has slowed the flow of Israeli owned and bound ships through the Red Sea to a trickle, with the Israeli Red Sea Port of Eilat suffering an 85% drop in activity.
Major global shipping giants have halted their operations through the strategic chock point or been forced to stock up on additional insurance in case anything happens to their cargoes.

A spike in shipping insurance prices expected to result in new inflationary pressures, for consumers still suffering the consequences of the West’s sanctions war against Russia.
Yemen has vowed to continue to ramp up its campaign of attacks against commercial vessels linked to Israel and its allies until Tel Aviv halts its horror campaign in Gaza.
The Americans can no longer count on enjoying security in the critical Red Sea corridor linking Asia and Europe. We call on Arab nations to come out, demonstrate and continue to put pressure on the arrogant enemy until the aggression stops!
