The newest additions to Russia’s naval forces have been showcased during the annual Navy Day parade in Saint Petersburg. President Vladimir Putin kicked off the event on Sunday by praising the fleet’s long history and hailing Russia as one the world’s leading naval powers.
Today, Russia’s naval fleet has everything it needs for the guaranteed defense of the country, of our national interests and for our strategic partners.
More than 50 warships, ranging from large attack vessels to smaller patrol boats, sailed down the Neva River and the Gulf of Finland as naval aircraft buzzed in the air.
The parade’s largest surface vessel, the cruiser ‘Marshal Ustinov’, is equipped with Vulkan anti-ship missiles that can destroy targets from up to 550km (342 miles) away.
The nuclear-powered submarine ‘Knyaz Vladimir’, which officially joined the fleet in 2020, took part in the parade for the first time.
Named after a 10th-century Russian prince, the vessel is fitted with stealth technology and carries 16 Bulava ballistic missiles. In March, it completed an expedition into the Arctic.
Other submarines featured in the parade included the Krasnodar, which carried out cruise missile strikes against terrorists during Russia’s campaign in Syria.
The Russian ships were joined by the Indian frigate INS Tabar, which was built by a Russian shipyard and is equipped with Russian-Indian BrahMos supersonic cruise missiles.
They were followed by the Iranian frigate Sahand and support ship Makran, the largest vessel in the country’s navy, as well as the Pakistani frigate Zulfiquar.
A Ka-52K attack helicopter, the Alligator, flew over St. Petersburg along with a pair of Ka-29TB choppers.
Other aircraft included Tu-142 reconnaissance and anti-submarine planes and Su-30SM jet fighters.
US military budget is over 10 times that of Russia and 3 times that of China with a massive gulf in not only numerical superiority, but technological as well, according to the Zionist media outlets?
However, in two areas China and Russia have sure advantages, hyper-sonic missile technology and a strictly defensive naval force by China which locally will afford a good defense around the South China Sea, but does not cover the rest of the world.

The USA has already lost two proxy wars with China, and has now retreated from Afghanistan. The size and technology of US forces is immense, but the US has never been good at dealing with body bags. Russia and China can give them body bags on a never before seen scale. Kids from Alabama don’t really want to die on a Russian or Chinese Steppe to defend Biden’s oil. The USA is a paper tiger, handicapped by an inability to deal with the realities of losing.
Poor lying monsters?
10 time the budget doesn’t mean anything when it is wasted on $1000 toilet seats (kickback money hidden), developmental overruns of billions (Defense contractors fleecing public coffers) and still non functional systems, programs made or broken by political pressure (gotta help your mates win contracts whatever the cost ), overly complicated future small arms systems (contractors over engineer to force use of contractors to repair.
These people are not soldiers but contracted employees. A crazy woke doctrine helps over inflate everything the US touches. 700 billion doesn’t go that far when everyone wants a piece of the pie.
A bunch of thieves all together ripping off society to gain profits, calling doing business?
Effective and inexpensive weapons that have deterred the cabals, not the over-hyped, overpriced and problem-ridden weapons produced in the West.
Do not mess with Russia and China! Napoleon and Hitler tried it and were humiliated and defeated by the Russians.
Now its NATO’s turn to pick up the pieces?
