Israel appears to be violating and plainly ignoring the orders of the International Court of Justice in the Gaza Strip, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territories, Francesca Albanese, said yesterday.
Albanese said, in her statement to the British newspaper the Guardian, that “Israel appears to be in breach of the orders issued a fortnight ago by the International Court of Justice requiring it to take immediate steps to protect Palestinians’ rights and cease all activities that could constitute genocide.
She said she disagreed with some lawyers and Israel regarding their interpretation of the ICJ’s orders, which they believe are not prohibited so long as Israel undertakes them without genocidal intent.
Albanese noted that the ICJ had mandated Israel to cease all activities that could constitute genocide. Later, Albanese in an interview with the Guardian, stressing that Israel] is obligated to adhere to the Court’s order, & states must act decisively to prevent further atrocities.
The White House national security communications adviser John Kirby says while Israel has not taken ‘enough’ action to reduce civilian casualties, they have taken action that he’s not sure even the US military would take in terms of informing civilian populations where to evacuate ahead of military operations.
He also added that the Pentagon ‘made clear’ they would not support a military operation in Rafah that ‘did not properly account’ for over a million refugees pushed to Rafah from all over Gaza.

The latest information I am getting from Palestinians in Gaza is that they are being removed to the Sinai desert ,forced removal from their own land is illegal under International law but Netanyahu has stated he ignores all human rights laws .
