Every single American Airlines flight in the USA has been grounded due to a technical issue, the company said in a statement on Tuesday. With the glitch striking during the busiest travel period of the year, millions of people could be affected.

In a notice on its website, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said that American Airlines – the country’s largest carrier – had requested a ground stop for all of its flights on Tuesday morning.

The company confirmed shortly afterwards that it was experiencing a technical issue with all American Airlines flights.

Responding to a post from a customer on X, American Airlines said that it could not provide a time-frame for flights to resume, only that technicians were trying to fix it in the shortest possible time.

Video footage shared on X showed passengers being told to wait at crowded gate areas. In one video, an American Airlines employee announced that our system is down.

The Christmas and New Year period is a busy one for air travel. According to trade group Airlines for America, roughly 54 million US passengers are expected to take to the sky between December 19 and January 6, a 6% increase over last year.

While RT doesn’t state it and the media in Scotland gives even less information I headed to India who spilled most of the beans.

An electrical fault labelled CRITICAL !!!! by Boeing states that an electrical connection connected to or near the fuel for the jet engines could go faulty at any time and cause an instant explosion bringing down the passenger jets .

It shows the lowering of standards in the inspecting and testing of components and their supplier of vital operational parts of this passenger jet.

Boeing have a history of holding back on faults in their aircraft but while that applies to their commercial aircraft they made some pretty good American Airforce planes like the F-15/18 and the B-52 .

They also have a history of overcharging the US government but they are not alone in this.

Yes it does look suspicious I agree.

American air travel is very inefficient compared to China moving 10 x more people, easily, cheaper. Even municipal busses in China are advanced – – air conditioning, TV type monitors, and costs, ¢30 US. In US airports, you have to go around homeless people, no homeless in Japan, China, Korea, Vietnam airports.
