Syria wants Israel to leave Golan Heigths

Syria has vowed to liberate the Golan Heights @ the UN and asked Israel to leave the invaded territory after 52 years of illegal occupation.

Syria notified Israel via United Nations diplomatic channels that it was prepared to go to fight back if Israel does not leave the Golan Heights soon.

Last month the Syrian Arab Army solidified its hold over its side of the occupied Golan after pushing back (into Israel) and defeating al-Qaeda and ISIS groups who had held the Quneitra area for years prior during the Syrian war.

However, Blue and White party politicians Gabi Ashkenazi, Yair Lapid, Benny Gantz and Moshe Ya’alon visited the Golan Heights and vowed never to give it up.

Israel will increase the numbers of residents in the Golan (creating a human shield), sending a resounding message to all – we will never relinquish the Golan Heights in order to keep control over the Jordan River and the Sea of Galilee for agricultural purposes.

Israel will enlist the support of the USA and the international opposition to promote Israel’s interests on our northern (extended) border.

Israel has a historical right to it and it is a strategic asset, Lapid said, adding that we will never give up the Golan Heights. It is ours now and it will stay ours.

Israel handles the same policy over the Jordanian West Bank, annexed by the Zionist regime. The end goal is to created the Greater Israel from the Jordan River to the Euphrates River in Syria.
