Russian President, Vladimir Putin, is reportedly demanding an escort of fighter jets for an upcoming visit to Turkiye, seeming to explain the postponement of several official visits due to the complex nature of such demands.

According to the news outlet, Middle East Eye, unnamed sources informed it that Russian President Putin is aiming to fly to Turkiye accompanied by an escort of Russian fighter jets, potentially over concerns regarding Ukraine’s ability to shoot down aircraft en route.

Such a demand is said to be a complex matter, however, as Russian fighter jets entering Turkish air space – and possibly to land them in Turkish territory – may trigger NATO air defense systems due to them perceiving the aircraft as enemy targets or threats.

According to one source familiar with the talks, Turkiye is not likely to shut NATO defense systems down to accommodate Russia’s request.

But so far those demands have reportedly been the primary reason for the delays in Putin’s plans to visit Ankara over the past decade, with his last visit having been in 2014.

The Russian President is expected to arrive in the first week of October, Russian and Turkish officials have been cited as saying, but there are likely to be further complications to the schedule due to the ‘unusual’ request by Moscow.

Better just cancel and avoid the scandal of failure to arrest Putin as an international war criminal. It’s not as though he has any business outside the confines of Russia.

From the point of safety I agree I also do not trust the Turkish President as he has divided loyalties ,there is a big NATO base in Turkey filled with American military as well as 500 nuke missiles also next door neighbour Greece has American bases.

Putin is near his own land but Mileikowsky “Netanyahu” came from thousands of miles away claiming to be a Hebrew except that today he is facing humiliation after DNA confirmed that the European Jews are in fact 100% European and not related to any people who originated in the Middle East.

The DNA of the Jews in Israel was determined some years ago by one of their own Jewish Professors who admitted that -quote -” 0. 02 % of the Jews in Palestine cannot be traced back to the original Hebrews of 2000 years ago but to eastern Europe” . OTOH– Palestinians constituted 4/5 % of those whose DNA can be traced back several 1000 years to the same area of Palestine . I posted this a while back in Cosmos Chronicle and elsewhere it shows how much the lengths they will go to hide the facts if this has just… Read more »
