Libyan freedom forces from eastern Libya, bogged down in street battles in a push to seize back the capital Tripoli, deployed warplanes to hit two UN supported regime positions.

The Libyan National Army (LNA) force of General Khalifa Haftar advanced on the coastal city of about 1.2 million people a week ago.

Armed terrorist groups loyal to PM Fayez al-Serraj’s have so far kept them at bay, with fierce fighting near a disused airport about 11 km (7 miles) from the center.

Zuwara is near the Mellitah oil and gas plant, jointly operated by Italy’s ENI and state oil firm NOC. Italy deployed some 5.000 UN soldiers to Libya, which are backed by thousands of French and British troops.

On Friday, an LNA warplane bombed the camp of Western supported mercenaries allied to Serraj in Zuwara, west of Tripoli towards the Tunisian border, according to an LNA military source and residents.

In 2010 the UN orchestrated an all out bombing campaign on Ghadaffi’s government to confiscate his super sweet crude oil resources, while the Zionist EU banks and greedy Western corporations seized the family fortune estimated @ $150 billion.
