The Israeli army seized a large area of Palestinian land south of Nablus in the northern West Bank, according to a Palestinian government agency. The Occupation authorities decided to seize land belonging to citizens in the village of Aqraba, south-east of Nablus.

Japan slammed Israel for its decision to legalize settlement outposts in the West Bank, saying it violates international law and undermines the viability of a two-state solution, Anadolu Agency reports.

Tokyo also expressed its serious concern about the rise in extremist settlement violence committed against Palestinians. The government of Japan condemns such violence and calls on Israel to take appropriate measures to prevent violence by extremist settlers.

The Commission said Israel designated the seized territory as state land to convert citizens’ lands into an expanding settlement project.

The decision was part of a larger plan to control the eastern slopes of the West Bank, particularly those adjacent to the Jordan Valley and its outskirts by seizing vast areas in this region.

Since the beginning of 2024, Israeli authorities have issued four announcements converting private Palestinian lands into state lands, thereby prohibiting Palestinian citizens from accessing, cultivating or reclaiming them.

Settlement outposts are small communities established by illegal Israeli settlers on privately owned Palestinian land without approval from the Israeli government.

Estimates indicate that around 700,000 Israeli settlers live in roughly 300 illegal settlements in the Occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem. All Zionist settlements in the Occupied Territories are considered illegal under international law.

Japan once again calls for the need to refrain from actions that escalate tensions, including those in the West Bank, taking into account critical humanitarian situations in the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli Cabinet, last week, approved steps proposed by Finance Minister, Bezalel Smotrich, aimed at legalizing settlement outposts in the West Bank and imposing sanctions on the Palestinian Authority.

Additionally, the plan involves revoking permits and benefits for Palestinian officials, restricting their movement, and preventing senior officials from leaving the country.

It also includes measures such as removing executive powers from the Palestinian Authority in the southern West Bank, enforcing laws against unauthorized construction and protecting heritage sites and environmental areas.

The areas designated as Area B in the West Bank fall under Palestinian civil control and Israeli security control. Land is very precious and therefore, these Europeans calling themselves ‘Israelis’ will continue to grab as much Arab land as possible.

When the Zionists first arrived, their delusion made them to believe that that they could very easily grab all the land stretching from the Nile River to the Euphrates River. So these Europeans do not consider that they are taking anybody’s land but only taking back their own land that was given to them by God.

The entire Area C is bordered and surrounded by Israeli military forces, whom shoot to kill. Police have to warn people first and might shoot, but Israeli military (read ” every Zionist who serves the military) is an assassination machine.

What Japan was describing has been going on for over 7 decades! What I would like to hear from Japan and the rest of the international community is that they have to explain to me why should the Arabs remain burdened with other countries Jews, a completely foreign people that they never knew and they never met? And the second point is that Japan has to tell us why should these Europeans remain in Palestine when they have absolutely no problem returning home to their original countries?
