The Israel military (IDF) announced on Sunday that it deployed troops to create an even larger buffer zone in Syria. The statement declared the move is to ensure the safety of Israel and the Golan Heights, which it has illegally occupied for decades.

The move comes amid a rapid Jewhadist offensive in which Zionist armed groups have seized control of significant areas in Syria, including the capital, Damascus. However, in a statement, the IDF stressed that the troops are not interfering in Syria’s internal events?

The Israeli military will continue to operate in Syria (just like in Lebanon) as long as necessary in order to preserve the created buffer zone and defend Israel and its civilians in occupied Jordanian West Bank.

Israeli tanks have reportedly moved into this so-called invaded buffer zone near Quneitra, close to the Golan Heights, which have been under Israeli occupation since the 1967 Six-Day War.

Reports by the Times of Israel indicate that artillery strikes were launched in the region, although the specific targets remain unclear. Local sources told RT that Israeli military patrols entered the Syrian town of Khan Arnabah in Quneitra province, killing one man.

Israel has a history of conducting airstrikes in Syria, often targeting border crossings and urban areas. West Jerusalem claims this is done to disrupt Iranian military activities in the region.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei stated on Monday that the unfolding Jewhadist offensive in Syria was coordinated by the USA and Israel.

According to the diplomat, it is no coincidence that the terrorists attacked northern Syria right after Israel struck a ceasefire deal with Hezbollah in Lebanon to divert its troops to Syria.

The situation in Syria continues to evolve rapidly as Jewhadist groups, including Hayat Tahrir-al-Sham, assert control over key regions following their entry into Damascus on Saturday.

Russia says Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has issued orders for a peaceful transition of power before he resigned and departed from the country.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Sunday that President Assad decided to step down after negotiations with a number of participants in the armed conflict on the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic.

Moscow said Russia’s military bases in the Arab country had been put on a state of high alert, but that there was no serious threat to them at the current time.

The conflict began when Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) militant group launched a large-scale attack in Aleppo and Idlib provinces in the northwest of Syria on November 27, seizing several areas.

The group took control of parts of the country’s second-biggest city, Aleppo, and advanced southward toward the city of Hama. Earlier on Sunday, the armed group declared that they had invaded and captured the capital, Damascus.

Erdogan saw it coming and Russia ignored the signs, just like Israel towards Hezbollah. Its still not an end game for Turkey or its alliances with Israel, the US, and the UN who is chartering a deal with the “New Syrian government”. If the new ISIS acts out like its older counterpart we may see Russia lending more than just a few S300’s. Like, where did all the Syrian forces go? They fight around the capitol.

This is a bad thing for Russia and also anyone who is defended by Russia. What does that means if Russian naval bases are in Syria for decades and they tolerated Israel bombing Syria every week. What kind of support or protection is that, regardless of this event. And also Israel and USA supporting and arming terrorists, what a world we are living in. Nobody is saying anything about Israeli invasion of Syria in the last few days, in Western media it is like normal thing to make invasions and terrorism but only for Israel.

The fact is that Assad was an incompetent leader with a dysfunctional government and military. Iran and Russia for a long time picked up the tab for everything in Syria expecting he would listen to their advice and bring the legitimate opposition to the fold, instead he took these two countries for granted and turned to reactionary, servant regimes in the Persian Gulf! Maybe he saw the writing on the wall and looked for a refuge! Now who these “legitimate Opposition” are, is a mystery and remains to be seen whether there is a plan by Iran and Russia or… Read more »

West Asia is currently facing two threats

1) Pan-Turkism project where Turks consider “X/Y/Z random area is part of their Mongol Ottoman empire and invading those areas. Like: Aleppo or Mosul

2) Zionism project where Jews steal any land whenever they get opportunity.

Both party are using ISIS, Al-Qaeda as a tool to implement their projects… Vanesse Beeley, independent journalist stationed and living in Damascus.

The Golan Heights is recognized by international law as part of Syria. It is time now for the new rebel government to continue its fast overthrow of the government by taking back the Golan Heights and kicking the Israeli occupation force out. In addition, if it wants real control of Syria, it needs to kick out the US military, who are stealing Syrian oil from under their noses. While the US regime controls Middle Eastern states, there will never be peace in the region.
