Israel announces First Steps to build Settlements in the Syrian Golan Heights

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced the taking of “practical steps” to create the so-called ‘Trump Heights’ settlement in the Golan Heights, in honor of the administration’s recognition of Tel Aviv’s sovereignty over the occupied Syrian territory.

Today we will begin practical steps to establish the Ramat Trump [Trump Heights] settlement in the Golan Heights, as Israel’s sovereignty over it was recognized by President Trump,” Netanyahu was quoted as saying.

The government is expected to budget some 8 million shekels (equivalent to about $2.3 million) for the project, with 3 million shekels of that to be allocated by the Housing and Construction Ministry, and rest to the World Zionist Organization.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Netanyahu also thanked the Trump administration for its decision this week to approve sanctions against the International Criminal Court for its investigation of possible US and Israeli war crimes in Afghanistan and Palestinian territories.

Israel occupied about 1,200 square kilometers of Syria’s Golan Heights in 1967, after launching a preemptive air strike on Egyptian airfields and kicking off the Six-Day War against a coalition of Arab nations including Egypt, Syria, and Jordan.

In 1981, Tel Aviv formally annexed the territory, but the decision was not recognized by the United Nations Security Council, including the US, Israel’s ally. In December 1981, the UN Security Council unanimously adopted a resolution declaring that Israel’s move to annex the Golan Heights was “null and void”.

Behind the scenes, the Reagan administration did not pressure Israel to rescind its decision, and in January 1982, Washington and its allies vetoed a second UN resolution calling on the international community to take action to pressure Israel over the move.

President Trump signed a proclamation recognizing Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights in March 2019. Dozens of countries including the US’s European allies rejected the measure, while Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov characterized the decision as a “conscious, deliberate demonstration of lawlessness.”

The Syrian government has stressed repeatedly that it would never give up its sovereignty over the Golan Heights, and has warned that it has the legal authority to regain the territory using any means necessary.

Netanyahu will build settlements on the land that Israel stole in June 1967 war, while the Israelis planes and torpedo ships were attacking the American surveillance ship Liberty, killing 32 soldiers and injuring 174.

The traitor president then was Linden Johnson, he was a democrat and covered up the crime, threaten the survivors with severe punishments if they talk to anyone even their family members, and quadrupled the financial and military aids to Israel, and now these settlements will be given the name of Trump?

Now Trump is a republican, but also gave Israel everything that they wanted, recognized their illegal annexation of the occupied Palestinian’s lands, moved his embassy to occupied al Quds, and recognized their occupation of the Golan Heights.

Still, the Jewish media and journals in America are attacking him viciously during all his presidency, while Jewish lawyers in Congress testifying that he’s a Russian agent for Putin, in front of Jewish congressmen & women committees.

This is the reality of the American politicians, they are all traitors of America and servants of the Jews, and someday, when this will be uncovered, they will go to the garbage bin of history as traitors of their country and people, disgraced forever.
