Israeli warplanes have hit more than 250 military targets in Syria according to several media reports. Following the demise of former President Bashar Assad’s government, Israel launched a large-scale attack on targets in Syria.

Zionist Warplanes pounded at least three airports and other infrastructure in Syria. Israeli troops have also illegally moved into the internationally recognized demilitarized buffer zone outside the occupied Golan Heights.

US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller defended the Israeli invasion saying that the operation was in self-defense. The USA didn’t wait long to start bombing dozens of other sites across Syria following the sudden collapse of President Bashar al-Assad’s government.

The butcher in Tel Aviv insists its actions are prompted by security concerns. But Furkan Halit Yolcu, security expert and researcher at Sakarya University’s Middle East Institute, rejected Israel’s narrative and called its actions an offensive land grab.

Yolcu doubts that Israel will be able to get away with it, and expects that the issue will definitely be addressed by the UN once a new Syrian government is formed.

But when the government is there and it’s officially recognized by the community as the United Nations, then territorial disputes will start for sure.

American warplanes bombed the country 75 times in just 24 hours…. But it must be okay, because they say they were only striking ISIS targets. The strikes came as outgoing US President Joe Biden described Assad’s fall as a moment of risk and historic opportunity.

According to Mint Press News: U.S. forces have carried out airstrikes targeting over 75 locations across Syria. These strikes, described as part of an ongoing mission to disrupt, degrade, and defeat ISIS, were conducted by U.S. Central Command.

The hostile operation involved B-52 bombers, F-15 fighter jets, and A-10 Warthog aircraft.

U.S. and coalition forces have killed and maimed at least tens of thousands of Syrians and Iraqis during the Obama, Trump, and Biden administrations as part of the anti-ISIS campaign and wider so-called War on Terror.

Commenting on the dearth of coverage of the strikes by the corporate media, prominent Greek leftist Yanis Varoufakis said on social media that the Western press are waxing lyrical about the new Syria being born.

But not a word on the American and Israeli bombs falling from the sky. According to several local media outlets, Israeli tanks had been approaching the Syrian capital.

Is there no bottom to the moral void of the Western press? Sunday’s U.S. strikes came as al-Assad and relatives fled to Russia—where they have been granted asylum—amid the fall of the capital, Damascus, to rebel forces.

Israel began active military operations in Syria after the armed opposition, spearheaded by the Hayat Tahrir-al-Sham (HTS) Jewhadist group, launched a surprise offensive against government forces that led to the rapid collapse of the elected Assad government.

The Jewish state’s military moved to capture the buffer zone established as part of the 1974 disengagement agreement not far from Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar insisted that the incursion is a temporary step aimed solely at ensuring security.

However, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel intends to retain total control over the Golan Heights, which it has illegally occupied since the 1967 Six-Day War, forever, calling the area an inseparable part of his country.

Israel will never give up on owning the Golan heights, what with it’s fresh water and the oil field that’s supposedly as great as Saudi’s Ghawar field, 5 years from now Greater Israel could possibly be the worlds largest energy exporter what with the Gaza gas and oil along with their own fields and Syria’s Golan heights, the only outstanding one is Lebanon and no doubt that’s on the cards in the near future, the end of hydrocarbon burning is a long long way off yet
