The Handala hacker group says it has carried out a cyber-attack on a secret treasury of the Israeli Mossad spy agency and leaked thousands of confidential documents in the operation.

The pro-resistance group said in a statement on Tuesday that it succeeded in breaching the email system and confidential data of Ilan Steiner, former Budget Director of Mossad, and current Chief Financial Officer of Israel’s so-called National Security agency.

Israel on the Brink of total Collapse and Destruction

The leak of 50,000 emails and documents would shed light on the details of Israel’s clandestine projects, financial channels to its insider groups, affiliated media outlets as well as methods to create instability across the West Asia region.

The exposition has reportedly caused disturbances in Israel’s intelligence and security apparatus and heightened distrust among top officials of the regime.

Over the past two years, cyber-attacks on various Israeli organizations are said to have led to significant leaks of sensitive information.

These attacks have highlighted vulnerabilities in Israel’s cyber security infrastructure.

According to Handala, the hacktivist group has previously targeted Israeli companies like Rafael, Appletec and Silver Shadow, asserting to have obtained large volumes of confidential data.
