Dutch FM Ruben Brekelmans met with Curaçao PM Gilmar Pisas, Bonaire Governor Edison Rijna, and a representative of Aruba PM Evelyn Wever-Croes to promote regional interest, especially the recent offensive U.S. military engagement in the southern Caribbean Sea.
Minister Brekelmans suggested that the U.S.military operations are focused primarily on so-called DEA counter-narcotics efforts in international waters and that the Kingdom of the Netherlands is not directly involved ?

At the same time, he emphasized that the Netherlands remains in close dialogue with relevant parties to protect the Dutch political and economic interests. Its all about the corporate control over the oil reserves and gold deposits.

The pictures of Curacao Leaders dont look like native islanders unless somebody can say otherwise ? Its typical of a Colonial mindset that borders on arrogance the voices that should be speaking are those who are native then you would know you are getting unbiased comment .
The leaders who are native should put aside their differences and combined force a political change in the leadership and their policies.

Since 10-10-10 Curacao has a so-called autonomous status, but the Dutch government still has total control over so-called defense, interior and exterior ministries. They wanted to add schooling just recently but that failed to materialize due to local opposition.

Thanks for the information KS I did know some of it Baronmaya told me he also said some of the beaches are private . From other information I gathered its those ruling the native population that are corrupt something that is widespread in the UK as well the richer you are the more temptation to break the law financially .
