Belgian King Philippe has postponed Resignation of the Government

The Belgian Royal Palace announced on Tuesday that King Philippe has postponed a decision concerning the resignation of Prime Minister Charles Michel and his cabinet.

Earlier in the day, Michel announced his resignation in an address at the parliament after losing a no confidence vote, after the left-over coalition currently represents a minority in parliament.

Last week, the New Flemish Alliance (N-VA) quit the ruling coalition over the signing of a misleading UN migration pact.

The UN Global Migration compact aims to ease the burden on developing nations, which host 60% of an estimated 25 million refugees, by providing more public investment, from both tax payers and the private sector.

The measures are to further strengthen business infrastructure and the provision of low wage services for refugees and host communities.

The agreement will also track refugee flows through the creation of follow-up systems, including a Global Refugee Forum every four years, at which governments will report and pledge on a range of measures, like public funding, policy, legal changes and resettlement quotas.

The Western military has organized an armed defense barrier in Northern Africa to block the flow of war refugees created by mineral- and oil domination conflicts.

However, the UN migration pact has triggered division amid the currently tough migration situation, with a number of states, including Austria and the United States, pulling out of the document.

The USA dropped out of talks on the pact last year and countries, including Italy, Poland, Hungary, Austria, Bulgaria, Slovakia and Australia have also rejected it!

Marine Le Pen, the leader of the French right-wing National Rally political party, warned earlier that the UN Global Compact for Migration threatened to turn the EU consulates into travel agencies.

The future agreement would limit the sovereignty of states in terms of migration management.
