Algeria will immediately begin supplying Lebanon with fuel for its power plants, Algerian state radio said in a statement on Sunday, after Lebanon’s electricity company said the day before its supplies were exhausted, Reuters reports.

Lebanon has not had round-the-clock power since the 1990’s and cash transfers to Lebanon’s state electricity company, Electricité du Liban (EDL) to cover chronic losses have contributed tens of billions of dollars to the country’s huge public debt.

EDL on Saturday announced a complete black out causing a nationwide power outage, including at critical facilities such as the airport.

It said then power supply would resume gradually once new fuel supplies were secured, either through a swap agreement with Iraq or other sources.

The Algerian state radio statement did not give any detail.

Several villages in southern Lebanon have also been without electricity after heavy artillery apparently struck pylons and electricity lines during Monday night’s bombing by the Israeli army.

The exchange of fire between the Israeli army and the Lebanon-based Hezbollah continued amid an important visit to Israel by US President Joe Biden’s senior adviser Amos Hochstein on Monday, which is aimed at easing tensions between Israel and Lebanon.

Hochstein is expected to visit Beirut today as part of his efforts to defuse the situation.

Algeria is a friend of Russia -73 % of its weapons are supplied by Russia – it wont condemn Russia over Ukraine – the USA wants to sanction it ( Senator speaks in Congress ).

Algeria is an Arab state supporting Muslims and not Israel – that’s the meaning of loyalty against aggression by the USA on Palestinians — watch out for the USA/Israel hindering the deliveries.

Earlier oil shipments to Syria were also blocked by Zionist entities, while at the same time sanctions on oil deliveries were enhanced by Israel.

Israel is very desperate and afraid of its own future, officially the Balfour agreement has been terminated, because they did not comply with the rules set in the agreement. Israel has now become a corporation, listed in the London City Chamber of Commerce, with the Israeli embassy as its new address.

What is happening in Gaza is not a war, but massacres committed by the Zionists.

And the genocidal campaign is still going on, while ignoring the arrest warrant for Netanyahu to finish the ethnic cleansing job?
