The Syrian Arab Army has expanded their offensive in the eastern countryside of Sweida, today, following a successful 48 hours that saw them liberate a large portion of the ISIS pocket.

Led by their 4th Armored Division, the Syrian Arab Army pressed the ISIS defenses around the Al-Safa Canyon and Kara’ area, resulting in another day of intense clashes.

ISIS is doing all that it can to obstruct the government’s advance and hold onto this vast area in the Badiya Al-Sham.

The Syrian Arab Army has widened their attack in eastern Sweida, as desert landscape has forced them to spread out in order to fight the Israeli supported terrorist group.

In the next 48 hours, the Syrian Arab Army’s elite 42nd Brigade (Ghiath Forces) are expected to enter the battle in eastern Sweida, which will ultimately be a major boost for the government troops.
