European leaders have urged incoming US President-elect Donald Trump to support Ukraine in the NATO proxy war Ukraine against Russia and avoid trade wars with European peers.
Nearly 50 European leaders attended the European Political Community Summit in Budapest, Hungary, on Thursday as they strained for unity after Trump emerged victorious in this week’s presidential election.
